I am so sorry to hear about this, Allison. Hold her in your heart/mind/soul. Allow her words to pour over you again and again. Feel her/G-d's presence in you and through you as you go about your life acknowledging this loss but embracing the wor(l)ds that are left behind for you to know and love.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Em. Kim passed away in May 2010, but it feels like yesterday. I honestly would not be the person you know today without her. She was/is incredible. She picked out the music for her funeral and this song was sung. I cry every, every time I hear it. (Now included.)
